It is with great pleasure that I announce that JRCD has been accepted for inclusion into the Scopus database. This important achievement emphasizes the fact that our continual improvements bring us closer to being assigned an Impact Factor and increases the visibility of the research that we publish.
JRCD is also available in Polish Medical Bibliography created by Central Medical Library in Warsaw.

Evaluation by the Index Copernicus International 2016

Dear Readers,

It is my great pleasure to inform, that once again, Journal of Rare Cardiovascular Diseases successfully underwent evaluation by the Index Copernicus International and has been indexed in the IC Journal Master List receiving Index Copernicus Value of 87.76 points. To our great satisfaction the Value improved significantly since last year. Let me therefore thank, all the authors, reviewers, members of editorial board, editors and publisher, who helped us not only to sustain this achievement for the next year but also to steadily improve the quality of the Journal. I truly believe that this success will attract another authors to submit their works for the Journal and encourage reviewers to commit their time to refine the quality of published manuscripts.

It is our great pleasure to inform that Journal of Rare Cardiovascular Diseases has been published on the List of Scientific Journals of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSzW) with the rate of 8 points.

Editorial Team of the Journal of Rare Cardiovascular Diseases, would like to wish all Authors, Reviewers and Readers, Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year 2016!!

Thank you very much for being with us during this year 2015! A year of growth and improvement.

In July 2015, the Journal has been added to the IC Journal Master List 2014 receiving Index Copernicus Value of 68.70 points.

We are awaiting the results of the Polish Scholarly Bibliography and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education evaluation process, which is expected to be announced by the end of December.

We are getting ready to apply for further bibliographic databases and indexes including Pubmed.

All our issues are available on the www.jrcd.eu on entirely open-access fashion.

We invite all Authors to submit their papers.

We hope to continue partnership with our Reviewers.

JRCD: Brief Communication article

JRCD: Brief Communication article

Brief Communication begins with a short abstract of not more than 100 words. Text limit is 1500 words, display item limit of 3 figures and/or tables and 10 references limit. The main intention of this type of publication is to provide opportunities for publishing papers focused on exciting, original and definitive findings especially the ones having the potential of significant and immediate impact on the scientific community. Brief Communications have a structure simillar to those of regular type of article including abstract, introduction, methods, results, conclusions and references. The only difference between regular articles and brief communications is the length of the publication.
