Criteria for publication and rejection in the Journal of Rare Cardiovascular Diseases

JRCD accepts

1. Review articles, original research papers, case reports in the field of rare cardiovascular diseases. JRCD accepts also submissions from related fields of cardiovascular medicine.

2. Manuscripts, which comply to ethical and technical reporting standards.

3. Articles, which follow the Journal’s Instructions for Authors.

4. Manuscripts, which are written in proper medical British English.

JRCD does not accept

1. Studies that have already been published in whole or in part, elsewhere in the peer-reviewed literature or are under consideration elsewhere with some exceptions.

2. Studies, which are judged by editor and reviewers as ineligible for publication in the JRCD due to ethical, scope, priority, novelty, and interest to JRCD readers

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript has not previously been published.

  2. All the authors agreed for the publication.

  3. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest

  4. The author(s) agree(s) to transfer the manuscript copyright for both the print and online format to the Publisher free of charge and agree to fill, sign and submit the following Copyright Assignment as a submission file.
  5. All sources of work funding and potential conflict of interest have been fully disclosed.

  6. The research was conducted in accordance with Declaration of Helsinki and (if applicable) local law concerning animal research.
  7. The manuscript has been prepared according to the Publisher’s requirements.
