Abstract

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain a leading cause of mortality worldwide, encompassing conditions like coronary artery disease, heart failure, and peripheral vascular disorders. Recent advances in materials science, nanotechnology, and pharmacology have provided novel insights into understanding and managing these conditions. This review integrates findings from diverse research areas, highlighting innovative approaches like nanoparticle-based drug delivery, 3D printing in medical applications, and biochemical insights into heart muscle pathology. A multidisciplinary approach is crucial for advancing therapeutic strategies and improving patient outcomes. Journal of Rare Cardiovascular Diseases 2024; 4(8): 204–209
